Simple sustainable swaps!

It’s fair to say that all of us dotters have been working hard to reduce the carbon footprint of our wardrobes… but what about the rest of our home? As part of our reduce month, we’ve spotlighted some fab brands swap out and switch up for a more sustainable lifestyle!

Oddbox

A weekly reminder to eat your vegetables, Oddbox ship out wonky fruit and veg that didn't make it to the supermarket shelves, combatting food waste and over-production!

Seep

In the UK alone, over 600 million sponges are tossed away every year, and at least 80% of them can't be recycled. Step in Seep, with 100% plastic-free and compostable sponges! They might not make the washing up pile disappear, but at least your conscious is clear knowing they'll biodegrade once you're done - just like magic!

Estrid

Moving into the bathroom, Estrid razors are a must-swap for your hair removal needs! Plastic-free and made to last, gone are the days of the orange BIC razor. Estrid blades can be recycled with your local recycling, and their blades aren’t tested on animals (like most big-name brands are)!

Who Gives a Crap?

Every day 27,000 trees are cut down to make your 'bog' standard toilet paper?! Who Gives a Crap create their roll from 100% bamboo - Did you know bamboo is actually a grass? It grows super quick, so with Who Gives a Crap you can wipe easy knowing that you’re helping to reduce deforestation one flush at a time.

“We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need millions of people doing it imperfectly.” - Anne Marie Bonneau, Zero Waste Chef
