All of our brand partners are committed to working together to reduce waste and tackle fast fashion. As Faye Wilde, Designer and Creative Director of Beau Loves states, for her "it starts at the design stage, from the fabrics you choose to the choices you make when finishing and packing. For our next S/S collection, 70% has been made using recycled fabric. You have to push for that as a designer and stand your ground. Yes the costs are higher, but the more brands request these fabrics and finishings, the more the industry as a whole will change which is a good thing." Bravo, Faye!
Check out the video below to hear Claudia Carvalho, Founder of Piupia, discuss how important sustainability is for the brand, and how it impacts their design process.
If you're going to buy new, buy well - that means quality brands that stand the test of time. So if you sell your preloved items from any of the brands that make up our resale collective via dotte, you'll earn a special 10% discount to shop their new season directly on their website. Simply list your item and once it's sold, we’ll send you an exclusive discount code.
Over the next few months, we'll be launching online pop ups with some of the brands in our resale collective – these will ensure amazing past season stock from high quality sustainable brands can find its way to a new little closet, rather than sitting in the cupboard!
Once they drop you'll have just one week to shop and enjoy access to your favourite pieces at great prices. With limited stock in each size, set your alarm now to get it before it's gone!
we believe that the whole lifecycle of clothing, from production to buying, wearing to recycling,
should be a source of happiness and care, reducing the impact of fashion on our planet.
